Shenton College brings you an adaptation Eugene Ionesco’s classic, Rhinoceros. Set in a world where social media reigns supreme, this contemporary production delves into the profound impact of online connectivity on our individuality. Rhinoceros follows Berenger and his peers who are portrayed as teenagers, as their French village undergoes an extraordinary transformation into rampaging rhinoceroses. Their compulsive interactions with their phones and selfie sticks, highlight the grip that media has over their lies. Join us for an exploration o the power of individuality, and the ever-potent influence of social media.
Come and watch our spectacular performers, musicians and backstage crew transform our Arts Arena into a performance of Rhinoceros.
This show will be AUSLAN interpreted on Thursday the 2nd of May.
