At Shenton College we’re committed to building on our rich culture of learning for teachers as well as for students. Going well beyond simple performance management, the REACH program delivers professional development programs that incorporate best practice reflective routines to help nurture educator excellence.
REACH is a grass-roots creation of Shenton College staff that provides a framework for our exceptional teachers to Reflect on their own practice over the course of a year, Engage with the data and outcomes of their reflections, Aspire to grow in key identified areas of performance, knowledge and understanding, Collaborate with colleagues through observation and coaching, before arriving Here at a destination for their annual cycle of growth.
Community-based and owned by our teaching staff, REACH responds to the specific needs and context of the individual teacher, and is an expression of the growth and learning mindset we champion at our school.
